Patrol - 9/8/10

So last night started pretty good.  I found some guys doing a little marijuana deal at a dark street corner.  I bashed the main guy down and the other guy freaked. He tried to pull a gun, but I hit it up out of his hand with the bat.  The element of surprise is nice, people don't know how to react most of the time.
I also ended up breaking up a fight outside a bar.  I projected out Fallen, and I had him go to the big guy and influence him to fear.  And when the guy who looked like he was losing came back at him he ended up backing off and running off.  Apparently Fallen can spook somebody pretty bad.
The night took a turn for the worse after that.  Some actually ended up cornering me in a street.  I am going to need to pay attention better when patrolling in Cincinnati, the city is more densely populated.  The guys asked me what I was doing on their street and called me a freak and used some pretty nasty language.  I couldn't even really understand what they were saying completely because I don't have the accent down yet.  But anyway, I ended up breaking through their line and they shot at me while I was headed off the street.  I got clipped on the leg and my back got dinged, I had my improv shield on though so it worked as good as I could have hoped.

I headed back home then because that seemed to be enough for one night for me.  The leg injury isn't to big of a concern.  I can hide it under pants.  A new concern is where to bury my bands at night.  I need a place where animals won't dig it up and where people won't get curious.  I should be in good enough shape to go out again tonight.
